This growing season was as close to ideal as you can get, free of extreme weather conditions caressed by timely rain producing fruit of exceptional quality displaying flavours that are rich, textured, layered and aromatically divine.
WINEMAKING
Itana is an expression of Mornington Peninsula Sauvignon Blanc. Richly textured and aromatically complex, it’s made from estate-grown handpicked grapes, barrel fermented with wild yeast in selected French oak, and left on stirred lees for six months. Itana is a limited release full-bodied wine, of tropical, savoury and citrus freshness, with a balanced acidity and a delicate finish.
