Established in 2007 and measuring just less than half a hectare the vineyard faces NNE on a fairly steep protected site (approximately 250m above sea level) in Red Hill.
The Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc vines were planted to run east west to capture optimal exposure to the gentle morning sun and spaced to allow even ripening which intern produces balanced and alluring fruit flavour profiles.
The Red Ferrosols of the site provide excellent drainage and promote deep root penetration all the while harnessing the benefits of seasonal rain, as irrigation is not employed.
Careful and meticulous attention is paid to canopy management to ensure premium fruit is hand picked to reflect this magnificent cool climate location.
